Rooftop restaurant at Night

There’s something special about Brett Hull’s Junction House (Junction House) that has helped it become one of the standout venues in its region. It’s modern, inviting, unique – a place that welcomes patrons in and keeps them firmly in their seats with an exquisite menu and signature cocktails. We took a closer look on the back of the restaurant’s success and recognition in the awards program.

Calling the Junction House unique almost seems like wild understatement. Its multi-leveled design immediately marks it as something extraordinary and different in a crowded hospitality market. But that was always the plan – the plan from the very beginning. Over its expansive location, there are three full-service bars, an open-air rooftop, cozy courtyard patio, and more than enough space for several private parties.

The Junction House is a place that seeks to please its patrons and offer them all that they need to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Its spacious interior is decidedly modern and inviting, evoking casual but upmarket dining experiences with a design that is almost industrial – all dark wood and black metal. The branding echoes this choice, with bold punched letters and black and yellow palette evoking the image of a favorite sports bar. This is a place that won’t be ignored. The Junction House seems to be many things, and while many others would fall or stumble at such an attempt, it all just works here. Creating a complete package that has enchanted locals and travelers alike.

Smart moves in the greater hospitality arena, and partnerships with a variety of local businesses, has helped the restaurant flourish despite notable difficulty impacting peers the world over as a result, and on the back of, the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, only last month the team hosted its sixth Annual CFF Golf Tourney to raise money and awareness for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – with all funds being donated. Much of this success lies at the feet of its founders, all St Louis natives with decades of prized local food and beverage knowledge. Everything else fell into place: handcrafted foods, signature mixed drinks, and the much-touted atmosphere.

This is a place where you can go to relax. To hang out with friends. Catch the latest game, and just enjoy everything the restaurant has to offer. Maybe grab a ‘White Gummy Bear’, ‘Chocolate Cake’, or ‘American Sunset’ while you’re at it – or any one of the special alcoholic options on its massive menu.

The Junction House is a special thing indeed, and one that is only seeing further growth as it matures in a market that is recovering and once again finding its feet. If you ever find yourself in the area, the Junction House should be a ‘not to miss’ element of your visit. You won’t be disappointed.
