Offner has more than 20 years of continuous private equity, venture capital and strategic direct investment experience with an emphasis on minority growth capital investments in technology companies, and is a long-time veteran of Morgan Stanley. These new devices allow customers to take full advantage of the increased band- width of Thunderbolt 3 with speeds of up to 2750 MB/s. Featuring ATTO’s propri- etary Advanced Data Streaming (ADS(TM)) and MultiPath Direc- tor(TM) technologies, users will continue to enjoy smooth data streaming and failover and load balancing features experienced with previous generations of ThunderLink devices. The introduction of ATTO’s 3322 Thunderbolt 3 to 32Gb Fibre Channel device and 3162 Thun- derbolt 3 to 16Gb Fibre Channel device also enables users to future-proof their infrastructures, taking full advantage of 4K work- flows while also benefitting from the latest generation of Fibre Channel connectivity. The new Fibre Channel Thunder- Link devices offer: • SFP+ modules are included and have been tested for interoperability; • A simple configuration tool to manage and monitor Thun- derbolt products and ATTO HBAs from a single pane of glass and; • Compatibility with the latest Mac® and Windows® plat- forms. The minority stake investments made by Nasdaq Ventures are expected to range from less than $1M to approximately $10M and will include seed to late-stage venture rounds. Every potential investment will receive a rigorous review with an established internal committee to ensure that each partnership is aligned with Nasdaq’s overall financial and strategic goals, as well as an ex- isting business line or business strategy in order to guarantee that every investment furthers the company’s competitive and strategic position in the chosen businesses. Areas of initial focus will include: digital transfer/blockchain; machine learning and artificial intelligence; emerging and frontier marketplaces; and next generation data, analytics and content aggregation. The venture investing program will not have any material implications on Nas- daq’s capital allocation strategy. Nasdaq’s investment program began unofficially in late-2015 and has since been partnered strategically with blockchain in- frastructure provider Chain.com, machine intelligence company Digital Reasoning and real-time risk analytics firm Hanweck.
