When staff members can see the level of personal care the owners put into each person, that resonates and makes them want to be their absolute best.” The couple have found over the years that it’s not always the best to be the first and that sometimes it’s better to come into an already educated market that is looking for a particular service. What makes Prairie Bliss unique is “never accepting the industry normal as good enough,” and Andy explains that both himself and Tara are constantly attending continued education to ensure that they never stop learning. “Staying at the forefront of that change is the risky side of the business. In an industry where everyone is trying to sell the newest fountain of youth, you have to be very diligent on doing your own research and trusting your intuition.” The fact that Prairie Bliss makes all of its own skincare, Prairie Bliss Botanicals, which now sells internationally helps bring the spa into its own, as well as its honest pricing policy which ensures that it displays all service pricing on the website so that there are no surprises. “Ensuring that we always have competitive pricing and services that go above and beyond the normal always helps us to reduce any economic sways that may come.” The future is bright for Prairie Bliss. As it continues to grow it also continues to expand its services, including bringing on three new services and two new machines in the last 12 months alone.
